Sounds of Elsewhere — vol. 1

Dive into these reverb-heavy, ambient oriented sound presets, specifically curated & designed for the Elektron Digitone and Digitone Keys! From bass to plucked sounds and ethereal chord pads (as well as a particularly enticing ocean noise processor!), these ambient preset sounds will definitely add a spacey dimension to your tracks. Volume 1 contains the following sound presets:

• F001 ODIN ARP
  A resonant arpeggiated drop-like synth.
  Hint: crank up that reverb!
• F002 LOW BURST
  A low-end bass note followed by a low attack 4th synth note
  Hint: Best at +1 octave and over!
• F003 LOW BURST WOBBLE
  A low-end bass note followed by a low attack 4th wobbly synth note!
  Hint: play with Harmonics for more destruction!
• F004 CRYSTAL PAD
  A simple crystalline yet muted and soft pad with 3rd note chord accent and resonant progression.
  Hint: Bring the bass note up using the XY fader.
• F005 CRYSTAL GUNGE
  Same as above, but with a bit of grungy noise on top!
• F006 DUB PLATE
  A flute-like instrument with frequency modulation, giving it a breath-controlled feel.
  Hint: Prefer a more triangle wave shape? Use the XY fader!
• F007 VOID ORGAN X
  A one hit, low-attack punchy synth with a 5th sub note and long reverb tail.
  Hint: Play with that Filter frequency according to your mood!
• F008 ARP CYCLE ORGAN
  A theme-park sounding arpeggiated organ that sounds like an actual ballpark organ!
  Hint: Playing 4th chords makes it pop; setting the arp to the Dorian scale in chord mode can give it an evil personality!
• F009 GLITCHY FANTASY
  A classic retro pad with modulated harmonics for a fantasy inspired sound!
  Hint: Using the XY fader, X will isolate the bassy glitch sounds and Y will turn it into a resonant flute!
• F010 GOOD BAD STRINGS
  A plucky guitar straight out from acclaimed western movies!
  Hint: Prefer a haunting lead? Turn up the mix all the way to the Y value!
• F011 MACHINEDRÖNE
  A rythmic drone machine perfect for mystic soundscapes. My personal favorite!
  Hint: works best starting at +1 octave!
• F012 SINE DREAMS
  A soft yet plucky synth with 4th note ratio. Bright and powerful with a dash of enveloppe modulation beyond a 2 second sustained note (or chord).
  Hint: If you have a Microcosm pedal, now is the chance!
• F013 GRAIN ORG DELAY
  Euclidian rythmic keys, slightly off tune
  Hint: moduate the C carrier ratio to change the root bass note!
• F014 PAN BASS RISE X
  Similarly designed as the Low burst Wobble preset, but intended for higher scale use, with a powerful 4th note combination and modulated panning.
  Hint: Crank up that release to 123 and play single notes for an apocalyptic soundtrack!
• F015 SHARP BOUNCE
  A plucked synth with multi-pitch per note giving it a tremendous range.
  Hint: Play with harmonics to your liking!
• F016 INFINITY BASS
  A frequency modulated vintage synth that can be used both as keys or as bass.
  Hint: Go down -2 octaves and play with the multi-mode filter frequency to introduce some noise!
• F017 OCEANIC
  Listen to the sound of ocean waves coming and going. Do you also hear that distant flute?
  Hint: Want more flute? Juste pan all the way right on the XY fader and play with the SYN2 level faders to hear it coming in!
• F018 KICK ME OUT
  A strong FM kick useful in any situations. Prefer a less digital sound? Tune down the resolution of the Filter and set your kick length using the Amp enveloppe attack!Have fun! Your feedback & comments are always welcome!
